Our monitors come with a variety of cables and port options, but each type of cable has its own abilities.

VGA – VGA only supports video and has a max resolution of 720p.
HDML – HDMI supports both sound and audio. HDMI has a max resolution of 2560×1600p.
Display Port (DP) – DP supports both sound and audio. DI has a max resolution of 3840×2160p.
DVI : Types
- DVI – D (Single Link) – Digital only.
- DVI – D (Dual Link) – Digital only.
- DVI – I (Single Link) – Integrated, combines digital and analog in the same connector.
- DVI – I (Dual Link) – Integrated, combines digital and analog in the same connector.
- DVI – A (Analog) – Analog only.

If you are trying to get your monitor to work with your laptop and it is not working, it would be a few different issues, below are some of the most common ones and their solutions.Power Issues – Some laptops do not have enough power to power the signal to display the image on larger monitors.
Solution – If your laptop has changeable graphics cards, upgrading could solve this issue.Broken Cable – Cables can get frayed or the wire inside can break or split. Try different cables or see if those cables work on other monitors to make sure they are working.
Solution – Replace the broken cable.Cable Length – Cables can only go a certain length. If you are trying to connect to a monitor over a long distance, it could cause the signal to be weak or fuzzy and even not display at all.
Solution – You can use signal boosters to increase the signal or use a shorter cable.

Solution – Update your drivers via your device manager or your graphic cards brand website.Insufficient Hardware – Not all graphic cards are the same. The larger and higher definition the monitor is, the more powerful graphics card you will need.
Solution – Check the stats on your graphics card and see if it is compatible with your monitor.

Viotek will replace a monitor that has 4 or more Bright sub-pixels for any monitor that is under our One Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. Viotek will replace a monitor that has 6 or more Dark sub-pixels for any monitor that is under our One Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. Viotek will replace a monitor that has 5 or more mixed Bright or Dark sub-pixels for any monitor that is under our One Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty.
